About Isis Jewels
About the Designer My name is Isis Bolanos. I grew up in beautiful Thousand Oaks. I am a rock hound at heart; I love gemstones and fossils. That’s how I started making jewelry. I get my inspiration from what I like to wear. My favorite gemstone is Watermelon tourmaline (not to be mistaken for bi-colored tourmaline). It is very rare and expensive. You will always find an assortment of tourmaline pieces in my current collection. Because it is so rare, no two pieces are exactly alike. I also love antiques. It also has that same rare and valuable quality about it. That was my inspiration for the Vintage Style line. I go antiquing all the time! My fiancée collects antique toys so we are a match made in heaven! We plan to marry next year.
About the Jewelry I handcraft each piece from start to finish and use only the finest quality materials and precious metals. All jewelry is made with 9.25 Sterling silver, 14K Filled Gold., genuine gemstones, fresh water pearls, Swarovski Austrian Crystal, hand blown glass, polished authentic fossils, and anything else that strikes my fancy. My passion for jewelry has prompted me to expand my skills to metalsmithing and wax carving. I also can make designs in 14 or 18K Gold upon Request.
